Quality Control Inquiry Committee

Definition:

AICPA committee whose objective is to assist in providing reasonable assurance to the public and profession that member firms of the SEC Practice Section are complying with professional standards in the conduct of their practice before the Securities and Exchange Commission by identifying corrective measures, if any, that should be taken by a member firm involved in a specific alleged audit failure.
