Groupware

Definition:

Groupware refers to technology that allows for groups of people to communicate from remote locations. The internet can be considered the ultimate open standard groupware technology! Applications typically included in groupware techology are calendars, discussion boards, project management tools, e-mail facilities etc. Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes are the more common commercial applications.
